Myd’L is proud to have made a police station in Strasbourg accessible to wheelchairs thanks to a drawer ramp.
This police station could not accommodate people in wheelchairs because of the presence of 3 steps at the entrance of the building and a sidewalk with several irregularities in the ground.
Our sales team found a solution: the bevelled drawer ramp which compensated for the height to be crossed, while making up for the slope.
This solution also made it possible to maintain ample turning space on the upper landing.
We also secured the access to the staircase for visually impaired or blind people thanks to stair nosing, warning strips and contrasting risers.
A big thanks to our German team who contributed to this installation near the German borders
